Hi pretty self-explanatory, i know there's a U16s thread, but I want to know what bike's you've all got, how much you paid for it, and also how you financed it. Here's mine, I've had the frame about 4weeks now, worked like crazy over Easter to get it. Originally I had a GT chucker, and two years later a cove stiffee, i did it by gradually upgrading, spending christmas/birthday money on it and any money i earnt (working in retail/kitchens) went on it. Cheers Guys!Btw as of Sunday it will have a pike 426 instead, and i've just replaced the chainring with a blue DH 38T middleburn one. Sweet!EDIT: Cost me a little over £2K without deals, but got it down to roughly £1500

and I put:`

Put on juicy 7
change the seat and seat post
and put tires with less soft gum.

Or a gambler

All of these bikes are nice to ride, it all depends of the price I could get then for

I think ill buy the nitrous even all the new mods the price stays low : 2500$ bike = 1900$ taxx incl. wich is a good deal

HAH goin back some, I had a kona hahanna when i was a kid. that thing took some serious abuse. it went through all the various riding disciplines with pretty funny results.

Eventually it was running with a z3 flylight bombers, magura HS33's, 105 groupset with the first LX hollowtech cranks.

Think the frame is up on the wall in my makes garage covered in stress fractures. It was a true franken-bike

I miss that bike.

when i was under 18, first bike was a fire mountain ( 800$ ) paper route to get that one, then 1 year later a cinder cone ( 1000 ), then 1 year later a roast (1500).. then i was above 18.
the price just keeps going up @ 25, owning TWO kona stinky deluxe ( 08 and 06 )
