Get the magura evo mount for vee mount. Not the evo2 but if you can find the first version it has an offset which can be flipped to offset outward or inward depending on rim width and pad wear.

I have both (evo and evo2) I switch between both depending on pad wear.

so the evo (not evo2) fits vee mounts? if so any idea where to get them?

Aki of trialspads.com may have them. He had them before when I inquired but I got a great deal on second hand HS-33 with two evo mounts.

This is the Evo2 mount

See that the left and right side of the clamp is the same. It rest on a booster like this:

It has a kinda like a horn that rest on the frame or the fork legs. Notice that it has an offset to one side, you just need it use either one to which offset you need.

The evo mount is from here http://www.cambriabike.com/shopexd.asp?id=22934&page=MAGURA%20EVOLUTION%20BRACKET%20AND%20HARDWARE

I found Evo2 with a trials pad (I have Viz orange on now) will only fit a Ryhno lite rim...better get the older evo mount. I have a Wienmann DH39 (kinda looks like a DX32) with an evo mount. If I have the pads half way then I can use my evo2 mount again, its more rigid thats why I prefer it but its narrow.

I would also suggest the original EVO mounts, I have the 2005 evolve frame (the uci style one with no seat) and use a mavix d521 rim with plazmatic pads. the older EVO mounts are annoying to set up but after they are set you will be good for a while of riding before you have to play around with them because of the pad wear. I don't like the newer evo2 mounts because they seem to be not as tight as the older ones. the newer ones have a tendancy to move around a bit because of the QR style of clip on the one side. I would also suggest getting a tech to install them since they need to be set up with the little silver tabs touching the frame and all of that other stuff you have to do to them..... otherwise they are worse than V-Brakes and you will hate them, I have seen poorly installed Maggies and they don't work very well at all. I will try to find a good pic of my bike so you can get a good idea of what I am talking about

You can turn those silver things around using a no. 10 open wrench. Its forced fit when you clamp on the pistons.

Set the mounts to have the pads touch the rims squarely. Thats right set it up once then your good to go for a while. My mounts sometimes moves out because of the braking power.
