My Norco Team DH 2010, everything is custom, best I can do for a 16 year-old buying it all off his own back!

My Norco with a Fox 40 off 2012 and an direct mount stem SunLine, not yet tested, I hope to be more comfortable for my hands than the Marzocchi Rv.

This is my 06 Norco A-Line DH bike I'm building, just upgraded the bars, rotor's to 203mm and got parts for my Shiver DC's on the way, my question is for anybody with experience with the A-Line, currently looking at upgrading my shock very soon, due to running a 8.75X2.75" Vivid R2 which is way to short, like the shock but the height is a little low, so was looking at going to a 9.5X3.0" Vivid RC2 or ROCO WC, I like the RC2/R2 shocks simple to setup and use, never tried a ROCO before, MARZ makes a good fork so there're shocks should be good too, but heard they can be a pain, also heard of guys jamming a 10.5" in the 06 A-Line too, since it has the 3 bolt top shock mount, as to what I've read through out many forums on the A-Line, more than likely just going to put the 9.5" in though, any suggestions ?

Stay with the stock shock sie going any larger will raise BB and steepen head angle making it ride worse for DH purposes..
