yea i'm unsuscribing. IMO the only difference i can see is increase in horzontal travel? but thats not enough of a difference to validate this argument. have fun kids.
if you could get some 8' diameter concrete pipe to try the corkscrew idea without the limitations of launching off the edge it would be fun to try. although i definitely see coming up the side and falling right back down on your head...
Although that's true, I think you've still missed, the Orientation of the body we are talking about.. it Would have no " backflip " in it, it would be more of a " sideflip " orientated corkscrew... and I think it's possible If you made the corkscrew Taper slightly towards the Exit... I would want full body armour to try it ... lol.
I don't think there's enough centrifugal force keeping your bike planted to the wall in a corkscrew (like there is in a loop). Just think about it. It's not going to work.
