I find the name quite weird. Trek. Star Trek. When I think of Trek, all I think about are nerds on bicycles. I dunno. Its just weird. + as said, they havent keped with the times.
i like mainly cos Cam McCaul ride for them but i have never ridden one.
i really like the jack, but they stopped making them, it was arguably the best bike they had, but i really like the session 88 and 10, theyre sick bikes. but i really dont know why theyre disliked because theyre sick bikes but i may just like them because cam is in my top 5 fav riders
They just look stupid. Whenever I go into a trek dealer the shop is filled up with racing/touring/cruising bikes, and then they have a couple of dumb looking trek mtbs in a corner. Whenever I see a trek bike i just think of some 40-year old guy wearing spandex and a really long helmet designing it, and it turns me off.
most of you people dont like trek because they make XC bikes (i guess) and you dont ride XC.
Ya, totally agree. They are sick bikes, one of my favorite brands. They look beautiful, are quality bikes and are impossible to break. The only downside is they are heavy...and they probably never will be light. But they are bombproof and great to ride
i started out on a trek and it worked out fine. i guess most people dont really like them bc theyr not very adventurous with thier designs and when i think of a trek now, i kinda think of a nerd in spandex riding one
They make some of the nicest xc/trail bikes out there, they arent honestly going to be making top-end street/jump bikes too. Look at the blk mrket, dobermann, companies like that only make street and jump frames, so obviously they are going to be very good at making them.
