See, here's the issue.

Normal bikes do dent, do crack. Typically it's after years of abuse, or improper use. Every once in a while a frame breaks for no apparent reason. Everything breaks, yep.

Trek's Session 88 isn't denting from years of use. It's not cracking from improper use. It's denting when you weigh it. It's cracking if you take a corner too hard. There's no other frame that's even remotely having the same issues.

Don't try to say "Oh, every bike breaks, so this is normal." This isn't normal. This is insane.

theres lots of people who have them here. i saw two dented two weeks ago and last weekend i saw one with a nice ding in the left chain-stay.

sherbet said it like its is. they have way to many problems and shouldn't be breaking like that.

they will have it all worked out on next years frame. Which is why you never buy a first production run model. Let all the rich boys and hacks handle all the headaches and let the smart consumers reap the benefits.tup

...But you will find dents in the downtube and lots of protection on the downtube to counter it.

Funny, i heard there were 4 snapped at the stays at the fort bill NPS.

it all fairness that was a gnarly crash. i don't blame anything on the bike for breaking. notice the Boxxers? that would have had to snap the axle as well.

true but if it was say a glory or older team DH or evil revol it wouldnt have happend and if he was using a 888 the fork wouldnt be so f*cked

yeah man that crash was hardcore.

Its not like m,y opinions dont have basis, ive been riding a session for like, 9 months, ive dented it, and now ive bent it. id love to know how many frames the WC team has ACTUALLY got through.

FYP

Though we will never know if it were another bike or fork what the result would be.

thats a bit dumb of a comment. seeing as the Evil Revolt JUST came out and few people actually have any and the other bikes were designed to be bomb proof. i doubt an 888 would survive. the guy pretty much landed flying sideways and dug in with the fork first, any fork would have been messed up. 888's have more problems then the new Boxxers anyway.
