i own a s-works enduru with a dhx.5 air shock
i was wondering whether to get fox 36 forks or marzocchi drop offs
any help at all,
my style of riding is all mountain creeping into light freeride

I prefer the fox, it is smooth and has massive amount of adjustment. The marzocchi doesn't quite perform as good as the fox

Cheers guys any votes for the drop offs?

Oh, i though u were talking bout the 55's. DON'T get the drop offs, they are seriously bad performers

Remember the fox is more expensive than the drop off, dropp offs are heavy and are good if you wanted a simple fork that doesn't have allot off maintenance. But the fox is better in all fronts and it's perfect for the DHX air.If you wanted a realy great all mountain and a bit freeride orientated fork, take a look at the marzocchi All mountain series,i ride a AM II fork and with 150mm travel with lot's off adjustments and it's so sweet and ligth to.But the 55 is also great for the AM/FR stuff

dont ever even consider buying drop offs!!!!
especailly when compared with fox's not in the same leauge
any drop off is not smooth, there heavy and clunky

I have a Marzocchi Drop Off II and love it.

It has lots of adjustments and is really plush.

It is great for trail, dirt jumping, or just cruising around the city,

Its soaks up anything I through at it,

But honestly you could get something better.

I was looking at the RockShox Lyric.
That might be good too.

But don't get me wrong, I love my Drop Off II they are great

not really the same category of forks

not really a fair comparrison as the drop-off's are not even made by marzocchi, marz. just slap's there stickers on it.. and it's an oem fork.

that being said, I, long ago had a Drop off triple and Found it to be a decent fork for what it was, no real adjustments other than air preeload, and was pretty ...meh feeling but at the time i didn;t know any better and it took a pounding and never failed me .... I cannot say the same for higher end fox's.

I would have to say to go for the fox on this one, and I'll hope you have better luck with Fox than I have.... I'll never own another fox product ......Ever.

hope this help's.
