Well, after 9 months of saving and a loan from the bank I've finally picked up a truck. So I'll introduce you all to the new mistress of my life, (because women cost as much and can be as much high maintenance) her name is Big Betsy, and she's a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500, extended cab, long box.

As she sits now, its leveled on 35" Pro Comp Mudders, has a 4" turbo back exhaust from magnaflow, Stock Airbox w/ air raid filter, and an Edge EZ.
On the list of things to do, Quadzilla Adrenaline box w/ Pulse Control Monitor, Air Dog 150 lift pump, Ice Box intake, Bushwacker Flares, and maybe a new windshield.
I'd rather be Power Stroking than Cumming! Nice truck though.
The strokers are great diesels as well, and I love ford trucks just as much as dodge, but mods for the cummins are much cheaper, and the six cylinder is such a simple design. But I'm glad to hear you like stroking, wanna come over?
I only drive the F450 when I tow the horse trailer so I don't stroke it all the time. Other than that, it isn’t too often that I find myself driving it. Even for living in the pickup capital of Canada, it is still a pain to drive/park and it seems like I go from one gas station to the next even with it being chipped.
Duallies are a pain in the ass. They are so retardedly wide that they are a bitch to drive around town. The only reason we have one is because they are capable of towing over 20,000 pounds and a fully loaded four horse trailer with living quarters easily weighs in at around that. Not only are they rather large but they chew threw gas like no tomorrow. I filled up my car today with premium and it was $140. Diesel is about the same as premium gas now so it is expensive as hell to drive a one ton truck around. You also have six tires to replace rather than four. Duallies aren't all fun and games. They are also really slow until they build up momentum. Going from a dead stop to 50 or 60km/h isn't that much fun. Therefore, we chipped the truck and got more horses and more torque for not too much money. Diesels have a lot of tunability though which is cool.
Yep, unless you actually need a diesel for hauling big loads they aren't really worth it. I assume you also did the exhaust, intake, and gauges to go with the chip?
Not a problem at all, I paid 17-500 for her, she's got 200 thousand kilometers on the ticker. As for mileage, thats just barely breaking it in, I know guys with 6-800K on them, and they get loaded to the brim on multiple occasions. The engines are bullit proof, change the oil and do the maintenance and they'll never die.

We have an Edge tuner/chip in it that is like a computer. It is full color and has all the gauges built in (digital) for EGT, boost, and some other stuff that I was told isn't as important as those two so I don't really have to monitor those. There is also 4" exhaust and new header dealies on the truck. It is an F450 King Ranch loaded that I drive with a gooseneck receiver.
