if you way 7 stone you chould get away with xc forks mate. im over 10 stone and drop, jump and do the occasional dh on my hardtail with marzocchi mx comps and they arent damaged after a year of hard riding! argyle will be too over the top for you mate i think, and for 300 you will get a decent set of forks

for 300 you could get an argyle 302 and a wheel from chainreactioncycles. i got a custom built halo tornado on an atomlab hub for 77 and the argyle are like 230 but they might even be 199 from winstanleys

have a skeg on chainreactioncycles.com for forks matey, there a price range from £50 to £2000 on there if you click on the arrangement button at the top, have a look throught the marzochhis as there xc and allmountain forks are similiar prices and all great, there are a lot of older brand new forks on there form o4 like the z1 etc.

I got some forks off my friend they are Rock Shox duke bit springy like but they are better than the RST anyway thanks for the help though.
