XC Bikes with piggyback system?

Hi, I have an Oryx Hurricane 250 XC/Freeride hybrid bicycle and am considering this. I have a Fox Float R 6 inch rear shock on my frame right now, think I can accomodate the Piggyback? I think it would be worth it, as I like to do a lot of jumps and I can use as much back support as possible! Any input helps Thanks a lot friends. BTW, I am new to this forum/site.
