i ride a custom sector nine, on the shorter side. I slide and bomb hills. Anyone know where i can get some gloves that dont rip really eaisily?
www.landyachtz.com had some awesome sliding gloves. I personally recommend you just find a nice pair of leather work gloves and glue on plastic pucks. (you can buy a plastic kitchen cutting board for the platic and then just cut it into shape)

g'damn thats a gnarly board, mine is just an old thing I found at the dump. picked up some new wheels and trucks for it and i just use it for commuting and midnight bmbing sessions when I cant ride.
I topped out around 35, I cant even imagine the horror of speed wobble at 50
I might be getting a Landyachtz Mummy board off a friend. I have no idea on the Specs or anything, but I was out riding with him on it today and its pretty nice. I'm still more of a fan of drop-boards with drop-thru trucks.
I longboard. I've got a Rayne Demonseed with bears and superballs. I've also got a small company called Toasted Longboards. We make aluminum speedboards. If you're interested, shoot me a PM and we'll talk.
This first run will be $135/deck since we want to make a few changes. They're basically prototypes. When we do the second run, they will be running about $200/deck. Here's some photos of the first generation.
