i meant you haven't ridden many different forks, not dirt jam comps. try riding a gold label, DJ 1, argyle and even a pike then go back the the comps, you'll cringe
I weighed my friends 06 dirt jam comp and it weighs 4 pounds, the argyle weighs 5 pounds so the dirt jam is lighter
i know thats not right because my dirt jam was almost the same weight as my arygle
Sorry, but this thread is just asking for arguements.
People will post THEIR favourite DJ fork, and give a few reasons why, then someone will disagree with them. It will cause a huge arguement quote-fest.
That said, Mine's my Argyle 409, for it's versatility and adjustability.
EDIT: I also liked my Pike 426 for street, I ran it at 95mm, and was real nice, but it was too plush for DJ for me, I run my Argyle's at around 200psi, and i'm like 155lbs. I Pump a lot, I use my argyle's as rigid, but a bit of suspension if i overshoot or whatever.
