I want to buy the p.2 but im not sure which speed to get on the back, i want to do 4cross but still go riding around normally.

get the geared one then change the mech to a good one

The singlespeed version can be changed to gears easily as its just a singlespeed kit on the same wheel. Secondly it has a mech hanger so...!

yea but thin how much a single speed kit costs comapired to a rear mech inner cable outer cable shifter new chain...

Reason? The cro-mo will feel much nicer as its steel, more forgiving which is perfect for a DJ bike

Lisn jack, get the singlespeed, u will never have any problems with it unlike jim who used his bike for the first time and broke the mech. Dnt lisn 2 Jay coz i no more bout bikes than him lol Razz :P:P

the cromo is over 7 pounds. the alum is like 5 pounds. and hes using it as a 4x bike.
the alum also has better geo than the cromo for 4x
