Busted my wrist about 7 weeks ago...just got the cast off a few days ago and realised that there is no way i can ride properly for at least a good few more weeks...worst part was that it was a super lame stack.

Wondering how long it took other people to get back to 100%

I still don't have full ROM in one of my wrists and it gets sore and stiff after a couple days of riding in the mountains or riding my bmx. It's been over 2 years since I broke the Ulna and Radius joints. But that's nothing really. Lots of people end up with injuires that make it so they can never bike again... consider yourself lucky that you'll be back on your bike soon.

i broke my leg mid april last year, and i wasn't riding full out till mid july, (as soon asi got my cast off i went back to doing exactly the same stuff as iw as doing before... same difficulty, and size and such, and i ended up partially severing tendons in my other leg)

it's ok to ride lightly while injured but if you've been out for awhile ease yourself back in or you could jsut get yourse;f out for longer.

in the last week of having a cast on i couldnt wait any longer and went for a few rides with it on anyway (kind of awkward) ended up being able to do small jumps, manuals and little hops...now that the cast is gone it's real sore and super stiff...hope it doesnt stay like this too long

I only waited till i got the sling off (broken clavical/collarbone) then rode a bike.Went straight back into hospital. I can ride a bike now, just 2 - 3 weeks before i can actually ride.

i'm on the 5th week of having a pink cast on my right leg. i fractured my fibula trying a 360 at chicopee, made it 270 landed awkward and was on the ground holding my ankle.

"are you ok?"
"no, is my bike ok?"
"yeah, its good"
"good. now wheres my mom to drive me to the hospital?"

haha, always worrying about the bike...

anyway, in 5 days my cast is off, my leg is MEGA shrunken. i'm gunna give myself about 2 weeks of excersize and swimming (is great for leg muscles) then i'm gunna start doing small jumps, light park and easy street. by the time i can ride hard on my leg i'm gunna be really good at fakies. haha

well, friday I broke 5 vertebrae and both radii in my arms on the last jump in whistler's bikercross (couldn't scrub enough speed, went over the bars to my head). I've got 6-8 weeks to heal according to the first doc, but I'm seeing a specialist tomorrow to find out for sure. I'm really bummed, the weather only just started getting nice, and now I'm out for the rest of summer.
