I have a Cove Stiffee hardtail but i want to upgrade to a dual suspension bike. My budget is around $2000 give or take. I live in North Vancouver so theres lots of climbing as well as downhill. I preferably want a bike that is light but can handle drops and can climb easily.

Just throw out names of the bikes and explain what's their pros and cons.- and weight and MSRP if possible.

Another question- what is the AVERAGE weight of most bikes.

Thanks

BTW, I am 14 years old.

I ride a giant reign x1. Sick all around bike. Is desinged to be able to be a light freeride bike to a all ountain bike. climbs amazing. Is capable of taking practicaly anything you throw at it I use mine for all of my riding. Mine weighs 34 pounds stock is 36 and the x1 sells for 2700 can but you can easily find them for 2000 used. Giant also makes an x2 version with cheaper components.

are u looking for a frame to put the parts off ur cove on? if u are i would suggest a specialized sx trail. the frames are 1750 msrp and they ride awesome. if u get one though i would suggest getting an 08 one cuz teh 09 ones look kinda weird. i built mine up for like 2500-3000 but u can go cheaper if u want. right now shes 35 pounds even, but im hoping to lighten her up maybe to 33

yes if u bought the sx trail frame they could assemble it for u, although undoubtedly they would charge u more money for the labor. i dont know how much they would charge but my guess would be $100-150. and no it doesnt come with a fork. what fork is on your cove right now?
