for one... are you saying 100 buck's for Both ??

if so I'd toss a juicy 3 on the front and something cheap as hell on the rear.. if it's for Dh.. pretty much Any brake would do, ( not the greatest ) you could toss a v-brake on the back really or a cheap mech Disk.. all you Really need to be able to do is lock it up..

so tell me why i would want a stronger front brake than rear for DH?

80% of your braking force is done by your front wheel on dh, as your inertia is largely propelling you foreward you need to overcome greater forces up front..

You should be using your front brake alot more for Dh then your back, you dont wanna lock up all the time, you wanna just slow down.
