the 40 has always been adjustable from 6-8 inches internally, like they say on that site, but having a spring contradicts the term TALAS.

ya.. thats why i said it says nothing about the travel being externally adjustable

there is no talas 40 and probably never will be... and for good reasons, the talas system cant stand up to the forces put on a fork from downhill riding......

as for the 2009 talas system, i'll let you know next week. i have one waiting to be fixed

The Fox 40 Talas rc2 isn't out, why do people always make stupid threads asking if someone has used things what are in pre-production stage? While your at it why don't you ask us about the prototype Rockshox/Blackbox Boxxer or how the floating cars are in the future...

To sum this up, no. No-one has used the Fox 40 Talas rc2 because they are only in prototype stages. Wait through 2009 until they are released and THEN ask.

calm down there killer.. he was asking because he found one for sale on a website.... also the 40 talas will never be made into production

It will, I guarantee it, just wait until next year, it is Fox's attempt to rival what Rockshox and Blackbox have produced.

so you mean wait till 2010??? because the 2009 line is already out and in stores.....

fox may produce an air 40 but never a talas.. and i would be very surprised if they even bother to do an system any time soon seeing as how thier coil is only a fraction heavier than air forks
