Seriously - theres nowhere in hertfordshire - unless you're in the know
For Dh/4x track thats a bit bad (and xc if you really want) try aston hill


Edit - I live in kings langley (between watford and hemel)

Well there is chicksands for dirt jumps and racing and stuff, i think there is some downhill there.

The Dh routes are short but sweet. the push is massively hard on your arms though (pretty long and steep)
The 4x is ok but could do with some work (it can be rolled if you're just learning - the jumps are all tables).

Overall - really reccomended
