kona shred

I own two giants myself. But the Acid is just ugly. I would have to say Kona unless your looking for a completely "unique bike".

I don't really care about the looks. Infact, I kind of like it. I'm just wondering which would last longer, which is a better brand, how they each ride, etc..

Giant no doubt. Kona has a bad rep, for broken and cracked welds.

Also, The giant I'm looking at is an 05, whereas the Kona is an 07.

I need a new Crankset/BB for my Transition TOP. I was thinking about going with BMX cranks but wasn't sure how that would all come together. If anyone has any tips or info on what measurements I would need to check please let me know. I know the question is a little vague but I'm at work and need to make it quick.
