Like if you had your Cassete on the right side and for some reason wanted to switch to the left hand side, how hard is that?

It cannot be done, you need to buy a new hub.

it can be done one of the eastern hubs the bidirectional can run lhd or rhd all you have to do is flip the pawls ans springs round

i know a guy that did it on his bmx, i guess yuo just have to put ur bb in the wrong way , and turn yuor rear wheele around, so the gears face to the left. this woul also make directional tires be on bakwards , so you would want to flip the araound to .

if you wanted to do it on mtb , i guess yuo would do all the same , however you have to go single speed , and you coul not use disk brakes , v brakes would still work tho
