Hey guys,
The Glory uses regular ISCG, NOT ISCG-05.

Also, since it is a long travel DH bike with dropped chain stays only the WIDE ANGLE backplate will fit on it properly. From there you have the option of either running an LG1 or an SRS. Your local shop should be able to order one up for you if you can't find a Wide angle guide on the Net.

blimey glad i didn't order the 05, do you have a link to one i am having trouble finding one?? thanks for the help btw

Luke,
There are just two ISCG standards:
1. ISCG (OLD...made in 2003)
2. ISCG-05 (made in 05, and a stronger and more stringent standard for frame manufacturers)

Your Giant needs the ISCG-old version. Cool
SRS:

LG1:

Cheers!

i'll take you word on it and place the order lol cherrs guys

Yeha All It means is the Frame has the Mounts to Bolt your ChainGuide .
Where before 05 you had to clamp it between Frame and BB.

whats the fitting for an 07 stinky?

Hey guys,
If you need ANY fit info, just email me!

It is a lot simpler (at least for me) to get an email rather than searching around pinkbike and finding things a few weeks later.

Bighit - ISCG-OLD mounts, Wide angle backplate if you want one of the older LG1/SRS. 2009 LG1+/SRS+ just need the ISCG-OLD mount pattern backplate.

Cove Shocker - Doesn't have mounts, as its designed to use a BB mount adapter. ISCG-05 version works well.

07 Stinky - Wide angle backplate, and since it doesn't have mounts you'll need to use the bottom bracket adapter that comes with the guide. All of our new 2009 aluminum guides (SRS+/LG1+) only have adapters in the ISCG-05 version of the guide, so order accordingly.

Both major US distributors should be stocked up on both versions of the new guides as well.

Cheers,
philip @ e*thirteen

*EDIT*

There are 2 ISCG mounting standards. ISCG-OLD and ISCG-05. The differences are listed on our site:
http://www.e13components.com/support_iscg_explained.html

You can also learn more about ISCG-05 from the link on that site as well.

It is also possible to bottom bracket mount most guides with an adapter, as long as you have at least one 2.5mm bottom bracket spacer on the driveside of your cranks.
