it would be good for light FR, its a slopestyle/dirt jump frame. 4 inches really isnt enough for FR

i was reading a different forum and a guy said his friend wreck his rear triangle suspension thing by doin light freeride?

the one that comes on the 09 bass, i thinkin of buyin that bike next spring... and wanted a front fork with a littly more travel 140 or so

If thats the amount of travel you want you should just get a Stinky 6 or something like that, instead of making a bike something that its not. All the Geo. for the Bass is based around a 100mm fork. If you start messing with that youll mess with the way the bike is supposed to ride. Buy a bike thats suted to exactly what you want.
