I get it, like I said if you read the earlier post. I bought a near complete for $100 and I just divided up the cost to illustrate it.

I somehow managed to build up a santa cruz jackal, with a dj1, but not very good parts for $170.50. lol

fork: 25cents (dirtjumper 1)

frame: $130 (santa druz jackal)

crank : free (holzfeller)

rear wheel $30 (alex dm24)

front wheel: free (sun ditchwitch)

seat/post : free (titec post, supercyle seat)

bars/stem :25 cents (gusset open prison bar, axiom stem)

headset: free (ritchey scuzzy logic with sealed bearings)

chain: free (kmc)

pedals:$5 (blockCool

front brake: $10 (hayes 9)

whell I had this bike for sale, with a dj1, and the guy I sold it to wanted something more xc, so I bought a different fork for it, and he let me keep mine. in all it cost me 25 censt.

I fixed the seat, but i never even rode the bike. if you look closely I didn't have a 20mm front wheel.
