I walked into K-Mart the other day and cruised by the bike section, one of the bikes said "DOWNHILL" on it. By your logic, that would be the best downhill bike because of the name.

im sure if K-mart paid a pro a cool mill you'd see some dumbass trying to race it.

its an exergeration but thats going by your logic. riders are paid to ride these bikes (no shit) just because Sam hill is going to be riding a demo sure as f*ck doesn't make it the best DH bike on the market.

I personally like commencials offerings. or a blur 4x built up with a reba 20mm roco air, xtr cranks, dura ace, stans flow rims on pro 2 hubs thomson stem, ea 90 bars, SB8 tires, mg-1 ti pedals, julie brakes, etc etc.

there is also that Turner, which the name escapes me at the moment. The reviews all said it was insane.

What about the Giant Trance, get a small frame and build it up for 4x. The norco 4x is a good build for the money, I saw one with Zocchi 4x WCs for £1200 for a complete build.

*SNIP*

New Trances aren't as strong as the 06 and 07 models.
An older one would be cheaper and be a great 4X bike.
