i'm sure i saw it in an mbuk. i think it's the two guys who made the company, DM was one guys initials, and MR was the others, so they shortened it to DMR.

Well im pretty sure that the DM comes from david matthew, of whom had somthing to with bmx racing, and so thats where davied matthew racing or DMR comes from.

I heard that about the initials too. But it says on the site that DMR = Design Make Ride.
