I know this has probably been done 10-20x but I'm going to do it anyway. I'm looking to get into DHing / mountain biking, and maybe even into racing. I don't really have a price range, but the cheaper the better. Looking for a low end kinda bang for your buck kinda thing. I'm considering a Attomik, but maybe people could guide me otherwise? I can't do second hand because I'm a terrible spender and I'm going to be financing the bike (I call myself spendy McRetard.) Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out on this.

The atomik is a great bike for the price, what exactly is your price range?

Don't really have a price range, but something along the lines of what the attomik costs Im hoping will suffice, and get me quality. Not looking to spend too much, life is getting more and more expensive!

Erm... The atomik is probably the best bike in your price range, for dh any way, you could get a demo for 3500

The stab delux is in my price range. I hear people rag on Kona on here all the time, is it a good bike?

Ok, your best bet is to get the norco atomik and swap some parts out, not sure what though other than shock. Kona's suck. There are so many reasons that they are inferior to the norco's, starting with the lack of FSR.

Oh yes, that is also another great option, but I wouldn't suggest it if you are super light or are worried about weight.
