nice bike that dude, shame my remedy has just gone back to trek on warranty, not sure whether they will warranty it or what i will get in return, Frown hope everything turns out ok now,
Treks warranties are awesome. I broke the chainstay of my fuel ex 5.5 (2008, old suspension design), sent it in and got the 2010 fuel ex 9 frame (al) with the new ABP, Evo link and a RP23 DRCV shock for free (well, i had to change the crankset and BB($75) and i got a new headset (free)).

Think we should change this thread to show off your treks, not just the remedys.

Thought i'd ask here. How do people find the Remedy for climbs and cross country rides of say 30km in length?

What shock is that on the Back DHX Air, how's it working for you?

I have a '08 Remedy that see plenty of North Shore style riding, and I always wondered what a DHX could do for me.

I recently test rode a 2010 remedy but didn't think it was amazing but I have been told that the 09 one is a lot better. what does anyone think it is like out of the box

It's a DHX air 5.0.
The feeling is much similar to a spring shock than the rp23.

my boss has the 2010 9.8 carbon and loves it, but he did just put a new 2011 36 talas it, there very capable bikes, but the 2010-11 bikes are more end seruro/all mountain oriented as they have 150mm vs the 160 that the 2009 had, plus the 32 instead of the 36. my opinion, if your going big and still like to pedal check out the scratch series, i love mine! but if you aren't that aggressive and dont do big hucks then the remedy should do fine

Have a '10 and it rips XC. Light as hell and plush when you need it.

loving it so far. It handled every obstacle I rode at a bike park and is light enough for AM/XC, also didn't do bad on dirt jumps
