LOL easy ppl I tend to do alot of tight single track with as much technical up and downs as I can find their also is alot of blind corners so sometimes stopping and or slowing down for a sudden obstruction

The Hayes 9 can be too strong for XC, actually, I haven't found many that weren't too strong, they were far too sharp for any XC riding.

The Juicy 7 wouldn't be, but that's what you get with Avid. They should stick to mechanical brakes.
