but if its the same wheel then it should fit right shouldnt it?

a standard 0 dish wheel has to be dished over 6mm to work.

A standard wheel is dished by 6mm, and you have to make the wheel straight (no dish) for it to fit on the BigHit. That was the whole point of Specialized offestting the rear end, because straight wheels are stronger and stiffer than dished wheels.

Sorry if this is what you were trying to say, just trying to clear things up.

it is clearly bent. look at the difference in the chainstays. my friend can run a 2.7 tyre easy and it runs directly in the middle and in alignment.

you really should take the time to read other posts before making yourself look silly.

The older bighits are designed around a 0-dish wheel, meaning the same sized spokes are used on each side, and the rim is centered over the hub, where most frames require the wheel to be dished to one side or the other to allow for the freehub. To accept a 0-dish wheel, the rear triangle has to be asymmetrical, which is why you think it looks bent.

Perhaps the new bighits are designed around a 0-dish wheel as well, I only know that the older ones are.
