dude i bought a used 05 big hit and first the crank snapped off, now i took the chain guard off and mine is bent exactly the same as yours on the rear triangle!! I checked it out when i bought it and it appeared as there was just a small dent there. now it is really bad.is this warrantied?? if it is maybe the guy will take care of it with the original reciept.

Sorry to jack the thread, just didnt really want to start a new one lol

Are all the 24'' rear wheeled big hits made with the wheel none dished the same way?

yes all big hits have asymmetrical rear end and use none dished wheels; also the 26 wheel inch is the same

donno about the new one (2009)

but it wasn't only the big hit that was built like this

Almost positive that all the older ones use an asymmetrical rear end.

I have a 03 Bighit Expert and its rear wheel is also dished. I know the chainstay looks bent on the one side, but it's specifically designed and manufactured that way

My bighit doesnt look like that and my wheel sits perfectly in the middle and it isnt dished...2006 Bighit FSR 1

what are the advantages of the frame being dished to one side slightly??
and has anyone seen the 09 bighit? i saw it in mi lbs being built up and it looks amazing!

The idea behind an asymmetrical rear end is to give you a zero dish wheel, ie the wheel is NOT dished to one side like normal. This is supposed to relate to a stronger wheel, and it also gives you a better chain line.
