Pike vs 4x

i was wondering...
my friend wants a new fork and hes looking at a pike and a 4x.
i dont know much about pikes so any of them.
and i think there is only 1 4x(the wc)
which should he get?
and nothing about trendyness or style just performance it is going to be painted.
oh and he rides an 07 stp2.

The Pike is super adjustable and decently light.
Tell him to get a Pike.

I have had my pike forever and still haven't rebuilt it. I don't even want to know what the oil looks like. If there is any. I abuse it and it wants more.

if your using it for racing or going for weight get the air u turn that is 110mm - 140mm and then have someone lower it to 80mm or 100mm whichever you prefer. also this is a little more expensive. or u can get a coil one that goes to95mm stock and it is about $100 less.

depends on cost but the 454 is pretty good i used to ride one on my old xc/trail bike

it has u turn put only goes down to 110mm. i ran mine at that forever and never had any issues and i ride dj/4x/park
