you could buy a dmr singlespeed conversion kit and maybe a tensioner( not needed)
and a small sprocket with 12t freewheel

im thinking of doing this change myself..
i bought a bike off ebay and it had some issues.. the main issue is that the previous owner decided to remove some of the gears, so now when i change to either a high or a low gear the chain comes off.. also when if i set off too fast it comes off sometimes.. also the derailleur had a spacer in it for some reason? think it was just patched up to sell but being eager i didnt look over it properly..
