maybe a blindside, commencal furious or supreme dh, sunday, demo 8, rocky mountain flatline, v10, vp free, glory, 7point, big hit are some that come to mind
Agreed on the Commencal, or any short travel bike. DH bikes seem to be overkill
That being said, your wrists last 30 runs a day on a DH bike, they only last half that on my 4.5"x5" Setup.
this
my Glory and old Wilson take too much fun out of the jumps compared to my Bullit. wasn't any better on my friend's Demo 8. they'd just soak up too much on the lip, while the Bullit just wanted to fly.
a good poppy 7x7 bike has my vote, although the hype surrounding the poppiness of the TR450 and new Wilson does pique my interest.
You dont need a special bike for Whistler. I rode there for three days. There are no frames or tires that are "best". Like most bikes and parts, its really just strength and preference.

I've spent far more than three days up there, yes there is obviously a preference factor....but riding park is the same as any other riding style, there are bikes designed for it
