So, I have come to the decision that over the winter, I am slowly going to upgrade my Two50. It has a decent spec. already, however, I would like to lighten it up a bit to around 26-27 lbs, as well as customize it and make it one of a kind. I've spoken to Radrider (the sharpie god) and he has agreed to pimp it, but here are some before and after pics so far:
2477564
(Before)
2680834
(In the process of rawing)
2680831
(As it sits now, after white pearl paint)
New stuff, picked up:
2706018
2706017
2731005
Before it went in for paint, I took the time with a Dremel to remove cable stops, V-Brake bosses, The deraileur hanger, and the ISCG tab, considering I will not be needing them. Including the rawing, It brought the frame from 6.3lbs, down to 5.8lbs. Which is too light, but every little bit of un-necessary weight helps.
Future spec list (I will post pics as new components are added, and check off on the list) Frame: Norco 250 (custom white with graphics) *** Fork: Argyle 302 (with custom graphics as well) *** Hoops: Syncros DS28's 26" (White) Rr. Hub: Hope Pro II Front (Both Gold) Tires: Intense Micro Knobbies with Specialized Superlight Tubes Crank: Macneil Conjoined (White) Sprocket: Profile Imperial (Gold 25t) BB: Macneil 19mm *** Headset: Fly Bikes Integrated (Gold) *** Stem: Imperial Acoustic (Gold, 48mm) Bars: Deity 25.4's (White) *** Seat: Duo Rogue (White with Black Graphics) *** Seatpost: Stolen expandable (Gold) *** Grips: Federal Slim's (White) *** Brake: Magura Marta SL in Gold *** Chain: KMC (Gold) *** Pedals: Eastern Sealed Mags (Gold) *** Gold S&M Bar-ends ***
Not the biggest fan of V-brakes. They have there applications, but I don't really think they would be good on my bike. I have a dirty habit of bending rear wheels. Not fubar'd by any means, but I don't want to true my wheels before every ride, just so my brakes work properly.
