Im getting one of these bad boys in half a year hopefully, reviews says its amazing all round, its called Transition Preston FR so for freeride its great, it can go well uphills, and for downhill it is good too. Bonus is that it looks hot and has a good spec!

yeah this local shop is sellen em for 600 frame and shock brand new i could get one right now if i wanted to, i just dont know if i could trust mongoose

ive ridden the sx like 2 years ago the rust color one 07 i dont really remeber it but it was nice i think, i could go test ride the khyber sometime this week

oh dear they are 6.7 inches, still enough for almost anything that average riders do.

I agree with the previous posts. Look into a Khyber. You can get an 08 on sale now for really good prices. I used mine for everything last season from xc rides to DH. I just don't recommend them for heavy DH use. They are mostly a AM to light FR bike. Cool
