Hi all.

I just bought a 2010 demo 8 (monster edition) frame and looking at getting it built up over this month. I had a couple of questions and will most likely have some more soon.

I need a new rear wheel as mine is currently 150, however Im not sure if this frame take a 135x12 or a 135x10 axle?

Also, similar question to above, the off centre wheel, whats that about, i did some research and i guess this is the dishing but i don't quite get it. does the rear wheel have to be specialy built up or is the 6mm 'dish' incorporated in the frame?

Thanks

The axle you will need is 135 x10 or QR135.

When you get the rear wheel you will need it to be dished 6mm to the non drive side.

Is there a way of doing that to a wheel once its built up or do i need to specifically buy one like that/rebuild the wheel?

Yes you bring it to a bike shop and ask them to dish our wheel 6 mm to the non drive side..

I'd bring in your frame too so they can confirm the dish.

Is there any difference between the 2012 and the 2010 Demo frames?
