Planning on building up a second bike in the winter season, with parts from ChainReaction. It's going to be used for hardcore freeride (drops and jumps) and pretty much no use on flat ground.

Frame: Azonic B-52
Shock: Romic
Fork: RockShox Totem Coil
Headset: Cane Creek Tank Hit
Stem: Deity
Bars: RaceFace Diabolus
Brakes: Code 5's in 203mm
Mech: SRAM X9
Shifter: SRAM X7
BB: RaceFace ISIS Signature FR
Cranks: FireEye ISIS
Chainring: DMR Saturn
Chainguide: MRP Slalom SB-3
Wheels: Azonic Outlaw in 20 and 150x12
Tires: Maxxis Minion 2.5

No seat or post yet, because I don't know what size fits, but that's easy to get later.

Total right now comes out to 3300 bucks, approximately. Any way to get that price down are appreciated.

saint shifter/derailleur would be my change

I wouldn't go for the saint shifter, but the derailleur would be good - not cheap thoughhh.

I love that Frame!! I don't love Romic shocks though... Can't you fit in a DHX, Roco or Vivid??? Maybe even a Swinger?

Different stem too, Deity is heavy and ugly IMO.

Nice build apart from that tup

Ok, different stem it is.

WHOAAAAA I am totally off base on the frame. I was taking shock specs from the Gravity DH and not the B-52. The B-52 comes stock with the Swinger 4-Way. My bad.

Decided to get the Toro Pro stem the guy above recommended, it seemed like a better deal even though it's more expensive (in white, of course).

Oh, and since we're on the topic of the Gravity DH anyway... should I get that instead of the B-52? Prices are almost identical, the Gravity has 10" of rear travel whereas the B-52 has 7.5"...

Here's links...

Yes, the Gravity is far uglier. But that's not really a problem for me.

Looked at a Vivid?

They are apparently the best shock around although haven't quite broken into the market yet.

Edit - None of those links work.

Don't have the money to get a frame with a shock and then drop another 500 or so dollars on a new shock...

Links fixed too.

id go with a b-52
you wouldnt reli need 10" shock on a fr bike

Yeah, I agree. Also, the Gravity is freaking FUGLY.

Any ideas on the fork? I'm not married to the Totem. Is a Boxxer a better choice? I can get the Boxxer Race for like a 100 bucks less...

For Freeride shizzle, I would try and stay SC. A Totem or a Boxxer would be a good choice.
