go faster than you need to do the jump, its not wrong if your scared and think your going ot fast, be aware your probably not going to land it dfirst time, get some pads on, commit, pull back asyou feel the lip but dont manual up it, if you bar hump a flip, its not gay or wrong just make sure you feel comfortable and as you lear nthem and do them more bar humping gets less so

biggest tip, hold on tight, never let go, and DONT HESERTATE. if you do your dead, so dont backflip unless your 100% confident.

also foam pits help ALOT!

no ones mentioned this but it is key... look straight up and behind you as u leave the lip and KEEP looking up and back untill you can see the landing, this maintains your backwards momentum. same principle as with spinning always look where you want to rotate. and ofcourse committ, no one likes having a 30 lb bike falling on them upside down.

Yea, the main thing you want to do is to pull up and look back with your head, just keep looking and youll get around.

how can you be 100% confident on something you have never done before?

one thing i do before trying some crazy stuff just dont think about it becasue over time when you hesitate you start getting scared and your confedence is gone what you can do is hit the same jump over and over getting a good feel for it and just go for it. and blast some music that drives you
