Do a search on redtrails............Cali has the best all around weather- but you'll pay dearly for that convenience (everything is crowded and expensive). Arizona and Vegas are perfect, yet VERY hard and dangerous to ride June-September (Daytime highs exceed 115 degrees F, and it cools down to the low 100's at night).

hey, im going to based in el centro with the british army for 6 weeks i was just wondering if there is anywhere near by to hire bikes and ride, i think san diego is the nearest big town.

theres supposed to be some pretty good trails and dirt jumps down there. look around on somme different forums on stuff down there.
