yeh, but not possible with this guys stinky as the shock will be in the way of the frame

it will also leave all the crap hanging around your seals.

no, cleaning your tyres would have far bigger effect

nope apart form the crap,yes you could clean it regular but other than that any air bubbles will rise and float around your piston,creating air bubbles which will affect the shocks performance.
