I've just begun figuring out how to get the tones I've been looking for. It's always been crunchy but a little too fuzzy, now it's kick ass! Forgive me for the errors in the video, strings are a little sticky.
Can anyone answer this question:"With the pickup so close to the neck it would appear that the low bass sounds would not be amplified and the treble tones would be more prevalent. Is this the case?" about this base: Unsecure image, only https images allowed: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=899ec57ac0&view=att&th=122915d6445cbf87&attid=0.1&disp=inline&realattid=f_fxbamay11&zwUnsecure image, only https images allowed: http://mail.google.com/mail/?ui=2&ik=899ec57ac0&view=att&th=122915d6445cbf87&attid=0.2&disp=inline&realattid=f_fxbamv0q1&zw

Alright, somewhat off topic, but here goes. I have a bit of a problem with my bass. The output jack isn't realy working properly. I've tried tightenening/loosening it but it still makes the horrible fuzzy sound. I know it's not the cable as the sound changes when I tighten/loosten the jack. Any ideas on how to fix this?
