if u keep cracking TLD's, stop gettin them. theyre super expensive. i have a giro remedy and ive had it for a loong time. almost two years. ive taken some suuper hard crashes with it and it still works great and fits perfect. and also breathes well and is only 120$. id say get one.

I have a pro-tech ace of spade helmet (I'm almost positive) I have had it for almost two and a half years with no problems

Get a fullface which you are able to sit on, because you never know when you are going to need a shit,

Don't listen so ppl who say "I have this helmet, so get it" without and explanation. If you are cracking your tld's get a 661 DOT approved helmet.

Yea definately don't waste your money on a TLD if you are hard on your helmets. I would say get a cheaper but durable helmet like a T.H.E. One helmet or a Giro Remedy but I doubt you will break a DOT approved helmet, just extra heavy but not too bad. THE one helmets are very good looking almost look like TLD, much cheaper than TLD's, and just as strong. You can't go wrong tih THE or Giro. Your money will be well spent and it will last you

definetly starting to dig the remedy

Don't bother with the remedy
I'm currently on my second one, and will never buy one again
basically it's the cheap mans helmet
sure it does the job, but not very well.
I recently crashed hard and my chin hit the handlebars which gave me 10 stitches.
which was caused by the helmet going flying up on my face when the bottom hit the bars. Before you think anything i did have my strap done up and it was the right size helmet. It just has no support or protection for your chin.

Personally I like TLD

i love my remedy. super tough, and looks good. pretty light aswell. i like it, but try all the helmets on before you buy

Why would you already have two remedy's? I dont know of any fullface helmets that protect your chin, the chin strap is for keeping it on your head..not protecting your chin. But i really do perfer the old Max Max's by Giro.

He is on his second after breaking his first one is my guess. Remedy's have a lot of vents so they are weaker than others. If you break your helmets though, the smart thing to do is to get a DOT approved helmet, otherwise you will just keep wasting your money.

I just picked up a THE one Composite, only cost me $80 (retail 200) shipped from Jensonusa.com. Its a lot lighter than my old fox rampage and more comfortable. I dont think that you can find a better deal, other than that I'd get a 661 any model.

661 makes both mtb and moto
