Great article; however, as Brad-Maxwell sated its more geared towards SLR users. This makes me want to write a article on just using point and shoots for sports photography.

Article could go something like this....

- Turn Camera on.
- Turn "mode" dial to the little running man.
- Aim.
- Press Button.
- Review picture.
- Buy SLR.

Well ya, everyone can 'take' a picture...but no one on here know's the factors of photography to make a good picture. Dishboy, maybe instead write an article about angles, composition, rule a thirds. Just a thought, because I don't think an article on how to use a p&s is needed.Rolleyes

- I have no little running man Smile

- I can't afford a SLR

I guess I should just stop taking photo's...

Don't even think about it. It doesn't matter what camera you have, you can still produce a quality picture. Keep going buddy!
