Sunday's DH Finals will be a course to be remembered! Do not let the name Mini DH fool you as this course was just timed by an expert rider at 5:55. Trails 27, 2, 13, 14 and lower 15 have recently been buffed out. I will follow this update with a new picture thread of some of the trails. See you at The Face Downhill Mike www.downhillmike.com
This picture shows the beginning of our Fall season pretty well. Still lots of leaves on the tress. Now picture some sweet hand built DH single-track underneath the trees.
90% of the lower mountain trails have seen a lot of love in the past week. Up top, trail 27 (the race course) was also fully buffed out. When we say buffed out, it's still gnarly. Now you can see new line choices and no loose rocks, or leaves. Scraped clean. Entrance to trail #12:
First couple berms right when you enter 12. Trail 12 is named Opiate for a reason:
Here is another new video. Rider is Elias Ingraham. Elias is the Co-Owner/Operator of the Whiteface Mountain Bike Park with me. Enjoy as this video shows a little more aggressive riding: https://vimeo.com/75919420#

Justin, Tons of new plans for next year. However, we just closed up for the season and move out west to promote races. There will not be too much info on Whiteface until April/May of 2014. Our website has been changed to Bootleg Canyon but we still left the Whiteface site up that you can navigate to. And once summer hits we are open 7 days a week.
