i dont have any pictures but its probably one of the sickest scars you will ever see. its a rope burn on my lower calf, heres the deal: from any of you guys that have ever ridden mammoth mountain there is a hip on lower kamakazi that is rather poorly built. i hit it and landed crazy out of control, came careening down the tranny and going about thirty, ran into the guide rope seperating the trail from the fireroad. i hit it at a 30 degree angle or so, just enough that i put alot of force into it but not enough that i just ran through it. i ended up sliding along the rope for about 50 feet until i hit a stake and fell on my face. scraping along a nylon rope going 30+ mph for 50 feet bouncing on and off the rope left a huuuge burn on my leg that slightly resembles a flattened x. its dark purple and when my legs cold it looks almost exactly like a tattoo.... siiiiiiiiiiiiiiick

Hah ha ha I know the exact hip you speak of, it's without a doubt the worst hip i've hit. I hit it this summer the first time I cased, the second I had to whip it so hard and launch to the upper section where the wall is eroding to make it smooth. I almost ran into the rope on the second time. Those ropes are the most rediculous things, they confuse you because you cant really see where they go then you get locked into them so you have to bunny hop over. I did that and my bike tire clipped the rope which made it bounce for the person behind me, clothes lined him ha ha:P

no hardcore crash or nothing.
i had scoliosis really really bad.
so bad that it was starting to crush my lungs and bother my heart.
so i had surgery at shriners childrens hospital, and now there are two titanium rods, 16 brackets, countless screws and cadaver boner fusing all of those vertibrae together.
i can still bike but it doesnt twist, bend or anything except near my tailbone.
