OK I slept and have a big cup of coffee so I'm less lazy now. Here's the quick version of what I typed up last time. - Richards. Red and white are both good. Red is a darker heavier beer, goes very good with meat. White is brewed with citrus, it's a lighter beer and goes very well with veggie meals I've found.
Sleeman. Similar to Richards, not quite as good imo. Bit of an odd after taste after you've had a couple. #20 is probably the best all round beer they make, honey brown is next up on the list. Bock 'limited edition' is horrible. I had to choke it down.
Stella. I like it. Apparently it's the 'Euro redneck' beer. It's the kinda beer you either love or hate. I practically lived off it for a while.
Corona. It is only acceptable to drink Corona if it's extremely warm out and you are in a bar/on a beach surrounded by girls in bikinis.
Molson/Kokanee. Party beer. It's good enough to drink, but not so good that you feel bad about using it for drinking games.
Dead Frog(local). Found this in a pub a little while back. Ordered a pint on a whim... then another... and another. Pretty nice beer. Bit on the heavy side.
Granville Island Brewing(local). Not the greatest I'm afraid. It's a bit hit and miss on what they make. But after buying a sampler I'd say they range from not bad to really really not good.
Any american beer. - This is all just personal opinion.

LOL
Really like Leffe beer as well. Left it out of the picture though because that's my dorm room and we're not allowed having glass beer bottles because they're considered weapons
Has anyone tried Two Rivers by the Fort Gary brewing company... Definitely my favorite but I think its pretty specific to winnipeg...
Stella is alright I suppose...
I don't its fair to say all american beers are crap... Magic hat odd notion and #9 are pretty good... and to be honest for cheap drinking coors light isn't so bad... cept that its light... and yuengling is delish

Ukrainian beers aren't that bad. I'm not sure if you can get any in Canada but watch out for Obolon for sure.
Other ones I'm pretty sure are only Ukrainian are Chernivske, Lvivske, and this other stuff called Troyan (but on the can it looks like Porn because there's a big cross and Роян hahahahahhaha). блять

I'll keep a look out for them at the LCBO around here, they have a ton of specialty and imported beers. You still in Ukraine man?

Nah buddy I'm in BC right now, in this town on the island called Port Alberni (it's a wet piece of shit). I head home soon. We still have the Ukrainians with us though! I'm making some perogie kind of things with them right now! Lot's of fun. They leave next week though, it sucks. Then I'm home. I'm going back to Ukraine in a year or two though hopefully.
If you see this vodka called Nemiroff around, pick it up, on a side note. It's the best.
Stone - all about the oaked arrogant bastard. stone is a socal brewery, but theyr expanding super fast! Anyone out there in pb-land/other countries and east coast U.S. states ever heard of them/tried the beer. Best beer in the world!! Really dark and hoppy beer.
And for my lighter beer i kinda enjoy Newcastle Brown Ale

I think you are comparing different types of beers which is hard to do, because there all made to taste differet. I've noticed the beers you seem to dislike are mostly not lagers, this stands to reason as in north america the predominant beer is lager and anything but lager will likely taste weird, rickard s si Molsons high end brand so they dont really make a lager and thier beers are more "out there" you could say which might be why you didnt enjoy them.
I wonder which slleeman beers you had but generally i agree with you. Sleeman along with labatt and molson share a 97% stake in the Canadian beer moarket and have tried to market themselves as the slightly higher end brand but i dont think their beer is that great at all. I 100% agree with you about COrona
Stella doesnt taste mouch different than Canadian or Bud to me
I cant stand dead frog just ugh
I like granville island breweries a, again there beers are a liitle more out there, espeacially their seasonals.
For the record the americans make the best micro brews and craftsd in the world
Don't get me wrong, I enjoy pretty much all the beer I dink. Just some more than others.
Uhm ok. Sleemans I've had are the No20, Cream ale, Honey brown, India pale ale, and Bock. Bock was the only one I actually had to choke down after a couple pints.
Yea I can see where you're coming from with the Stella, seems a bit... sharper?... Idunno I just got off work and am struggling to find the proper words here haha.
I'm about to head off and pick up a case of beer, wanting to try something new. Any recommendations?
