go there, change the sprocket either up or down to gear it up or granny gear it. i prefer granny gearing but it's all about personal preference.

Wheel size multiplied by front sprocket teeth divided by rear cog teeth..
try to get the final number around 55
Exp. 20" x 25T= 500 divided by 9 = 55.55...
20" x 36T= 720 divided by 13= 55.38...
and a KMC 710 chain..will last long time

hey im thinking of single speeding my 2009 specialized p-2 chro mo and i was wondering what the best chainring/cog ratio would be. i do mostly dj and street so i want a smaller chainring for easier strait dropping into the bowl

Edit, didnt see the dates on the previous comment.
for bmx
23-9 if you are weak
25-9 is the norm
and if you enjoy going fast 28-9 is where is at
for 26 i think i run a 32-16? or some thing along those lines, its been a long time since that bike has seen any use though so im probably wrong.
