1) you can't without heat treat. 2) bullshit, the vast majority, if not literally every BMX frame worth it's weight, is heat treated. That frame, for example, was heat treated. 3) full disclosure or not, there are people that don't know better.
You doubling down on this and flatout lying makes it that much more shady. Trying to pull this shit on someone that may not know better is insanely uncool. This is shady. If you have a problem with me calling you out on it, feel free to get a mod involved and they'll likely also tell you to knock it off, after deleting your post.
This is wrong. Most steel bikes are not heat treated. Some tubes are before welding but there is no post weld heat treat for steel that I am aware of.

Literally every BMX frame currently in my shop is post weld treated.
Weird all it does is make the tubing harder so it cracks more and does not flex as much. I have never heat treated a steel frame I made. How hot do they treat these bikes? It's not like they are getting them hotter than the welding is and if they are that is not good.
What brands do you stock? All aluminum is post weld heat treated.
alum frames heat treated 100%, Steel frames not needed
not saying its not done just in most cases if welding is proper with the one pass of weld isn't required unless u were piling on 5 passes of weld and severely over heating the area

Sunday and S&M come to mind. As far as I'm aware, BLK MRKT frames were also post weld heat treated during their heyday.
I'm no metallurgist, as is evident and obvious. Our steel repair guy states pretty bluntly that frames don't always need post weld heat treat from factory, but when rewelded for repair work, you must make sure the grains are all properly aligned. Most science I see regarding this also seems to point this way.
Again, if you have the ability to repair it, why not do it then sell it? This way you don't need to have the background thought of some dumb kid getting it and getting hurt as they didn't take the warning seriously.
Hello! I have came across a 2021 RockShox Pike DJ, i am itching to put it on a DJ or Slopestyle bike. I came across a Black Market Kill Switch.
The seller states it has freshly rebuilt suspension pike, spank spike wheels, profile racing hubs, zee rear break, fresh pads and bleed. Looks like he has ZEE cranks as well. He has it posted for 1000. Is that a fair price? Is the fork any good? I plan to just sell it anyway. He says the front wheel is a 15x100. Meaning i can use my pike dj, he also said it has a tapered headtube, is that correct? Lmk thanks guys
