To each their own. I just think there's too much contrast.

Tobias-live2ride, the first 3 could definitely be cropped for rule of thirds. For the last one, try to get the transition in which the rider is jumping off of in the shot. Also, try and take the photo when his bars are 180 degrees around. Otherwise, good stuff.

yeah its a nice picture but a footjam isnt really mag worthy maybe if he was doing a huge t-down out of that

It's not the fact that it's a photo of a footjam, but more that it's not a creative or well taken shot. Don't get me wrong, it's a decent photo, but just not close to being worthy of publishing.

I'm liking the photo of the double peg. The rider reminds me of Dakota Roche. Must be the hair and A's hat. Maybe crop the shot a bit so he's not so centred and it appeals to the rule of thirds.
