does anyone else have trouble getting really flat tables because of the long legs problem or is it just me?
Im like 6'1" ish i think, maybe more, and i sometimes have trouble getting them really flat, but ive never blamed my legs
At first i thought it was straight out impossible, but two days ago i got em flat, it felt freakin awesome, its all in the feet man, try to make your heel hit your ass, i'll try to get some new pics... oh and dont be discouraged, it took me a full month of hard work on em, after two years of only getting slightly tabled whips, it just feels strange at first.
6'3" I hate being tall. It's much harder to get a frame that fits you, It's harder to spin, harder to whip, harder to table, and harder to get a good style, as this photo shows!

While you might technically be correct, I never let my height be an excuse for something I can't do. If you think you can do something, you definitely can. Shorter guys may have an easier time with certain things, but thats why we're tougher than they are

Yah, i've been at the Gym more lately, so I've got better at throwing the bike around more, it's getting easier. Another thing, is second hand frames, I can never seem to get frames in my size!
I've had that problem as well, I've just learned to ride short bikes. I went from a 22.5" toptube, to a 21.75" and now I'm thinking maybe something a touch shorter would still work. Im riding the eastern traildigger 26 frame right now, its relativly short, and feels great, way more flickable even though the weight is comparable to the longer frame. Also, strength is key, the stronger your muscles and connective tissue is, the more durable your body will be which is a concern for taller guys. I.E. longer bones = more leverage against joints (knees, shoulders, ankles).
The people I ride with say over and over again: « If I had your legs I would do that ! ». Being tall is a great thing in many aspects of riding. If you know how to do a bunny hop longer legs means more impulse, for exemple. However shorther people can do them maybe higher than you ... I think dirt is not the best thing to do when you are tall... Street is !
